Marci Bales Peschke was born in Indiana, grew up in Florida during the Space Race, and now lives in Texas with her husband and sweet black and white cat named  Oreo Cookie Peschke, called Cookie. She is an author, craft queen, storytime reader supreme, children's event coordinator and retired school librarian. One of her favorite things to do is spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loves reading, tea parties, traveling and watching movies. She has lived in three haunted houses which inspired her to write The Ghost's Revenge. When she was six she started writing poems, so for her writing books is a dream come true!
